The residence is only 5 minutes from ENSAP, and 10 minutes from Lille 1 University and Lille 3 University. You literally can’t miss the metro, it’s right at the foot of the residence. Fancy a shopping trip to Lille city centre? Metro line 1 will get you there in just 15 minutes. Going to visit your parents for the weekend? No problem, there are many bus routes nearby that will take you to the bus station. The residence is located in the centre of Villeneuve, with all shops and amenities less than 5 minutes away: a shopping centre, hypermarket, cinema, sports hall, doctor’s surgery, pharmacy, bakery, printers, driving school, etc. It's the ideal location!

The city of Lille is known for its old town centre and its flamboyant architecture. Make sure you take a tour of the old town, it really is a must-see. Can’t be bothered to cook and want to try the local specialities? You’re in the right place. The Grand' Place is full of terraces, restaurants and shops, plus you get to admire the famous red brick houses and pretty cobbled streets.
Finished your revision and ready to relax? Head to rue Solférino and rue Masséna. This lively area is full of bars and nightclubs and is always a hit with students. It’s well known that in the North we know how to party! No wonder the city is ranked third best student city in France. Make sure you’re around for the year's most important cultural events: the famous Lille street market on the 1st Sunday in September or the weekly date with LOSC players at Pierre-Mauroy stadium.
