5 tips for studying in Dijon

Are you heading off to study in Dijon, in the heart of Burgundy? The universities on the Dijon campus are home to more than 33,000 students, making the city a particularly attractive choice. Want to discover Dijon and make the most of your student life? Nemea has some tips for an easy start.

 

Getting around Dijon

The commune is served by the Divia transport network, with various means of transport available: bus, bicycle, tram, etc. you can get around safely whatever your journey. Remember to visit the Place Darcy Divia office to find out about student rates.

 

Visiting Dijon

To savour the charm of Dijon's city centre, follow the ‘Parcours de la Chouette’ or owl's trail which meanders through the old town in 22 steps. Don't forget to look up at the famous Burgundy glazed tiles.

Dijon has many bars and restaurants with terraces. If you’re in the mood to visit a restaurant with friends, head to Les Halles. Fancy a nice coffee after class? Place de la Libération is where you want to go. And to continue the evening, move on to Rue Berbisey, a street that’s a real hit with students.
