But if you're not convinced of your friends' ability to evaluate your new home, then there is still the option of a virtual visit.
It's quite possible to visit your future home from your sofa. Yes, this dream can actually be a reality and has now become quite common. So feel free to request a virtual visit. There is no reason for the owner to refuse unless they have something suspicious to hide (and that's obviously a bad sign, so move on)! The advantage is that you can get the opinion of friends and family more easily, as they won't need to travel either. To avoid surprises, remember to ask all the questions you can think of and ask for as many photos and videos as possible (you can never have enough)!
